I receive this email from info@diamondatankllc.com, is it scam?
Dear ,

We have storage tanks with a capacity of over 5 Millions barrels of
refined products. We can accommodate Gasoline Oil (EN590), D6 Virgin
Fuel Oil and Jet Fuel products in our storage.

We have storage tank spaces at Houston, Fujairah & Rotterdam ports. Tank
locations with GPS Coordinates are only made known to Lessee management,
upon having storage agreement signed and tank reservation space booked.

Visit us: http://www.diamondatankllc.com

Below daily rental prices and leasing terms:

1 Million barrels……. 35,000.00 USD per day
2 Million barrels…….50,000.00 USD per day
100 Million gallons of D6 virgin fuel……… 35,000.00 USD per day
200 Million gallons of D6 virgin fuel……… 55,000.00 USD per day
EN590 (50,000 MT)………. 30,000.00 USD per day
EN590 (100,000 MT)……… 50,000.00 USD per day

*Tank Storage Procurement Procedures:*

1. Lessee issue Letter Of Intent LOI with company details, indicating
types of product and quantity.

2. Tank storage company issue storage contract (TSA) to lessee.

3. Lessee sign seal the storage contract and send back to Storage
Company for acceptance.

4. Upon receipt of signed storage contract by the Lessee, Storage
Company issues payment invoice for the procurement of the storage tanks
space. The storage tanks are put in reserve for 5 working days. If the
invoice is not paid on time, after 5 working days the storage tanks are
withdrawn from the reserve and re-entered into free space.

5. Upon payment, the Lessee sends the payment receipt to the storage
company for confirmation with their bank.

6. Upon confirmation of the Lessees payment for procurement of the
storage tank. The storage company issues the valid Tank Storage Receipt
(TSR) consisting of the tank numbers & GPS coordinates locations.

7. Subsequently the Lessee informs the storage company with the
Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) of their products.

8. Upon confirmation of the ETA of Lessees product, Storage Company
reverts with Notice Of Readiness (NOR) to receive the products. Loading
and discharging commences accordingly.

N.B: Payment done for tank reservation by the Lessee are 100%
refundable. Upon request notice by the Lessee decision not making use of
the reserved tank space again. With this done, the earlier issued TSR
would be automatically cancelled and void.

Best Regards,

Mr. David Phillipson

I guess the big question is are you someone who works in the oil industry and would expect to receive emails like this or are you just someone with absolutely no connection with the industry. I'm going to assume since you are asking the question about it being a scam that you have no connection to the oil industry (if you did then you'd probably be in a much better place than us to determine it's legitimacy).

I'd say it is a scam, based purely on the fact that it appears to have been randomly sent to you.

Looking at the email, the complicated procedures have all the hallmarks of being made up by scammers - would any legitimate company randomly send procedures like those to someone they have no business relationship with.

Then there is the domain that is being used - diamondatankllc.com - it was only registered 4 months ago by someone using a privacy service to hide their identity - a massive red flag.

Looking on the website, despite only being 4 months old, they make some pretty amazing claims

All of the images on their site also appear to be stock images - why can't they take pictures of their own ship and storage facilities?
