They are scammers who spam email addresses that they harvest from the internet with their fake deals, in the hope that someone will respond.

The proof is in the original post for everyone to see - legitimate businesses in the Financial Services industry don't use free Gmail email addresses and mobile phones as their main telephone numbers and don't spam LinkedIn to advertise their services.

The fact is that they are scammers who spam out lists of machines that they don't stock, trying to trick unsuspecting victims into paying for them.

I'm from the UK and have worked my whole career in banking. I am a currently a senior manager working in the fraud department of one of the UK's largest banks.
